HARRISBURG – Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) wrote a letter to Gov. Tom Wolf, asking his administration to conduct a full risk assessment of the Mariner East 2 pipeline project to analyze the potentially catastrophic harm that a leak or other malfunction could cause, and to release its findings to the public.
WHAT: Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) is inviting residents of Chester Heights and Media boroughs, and the townships of Edgmont, Marple, Middletown, Newtown, Thornbury and Upper Providence to bring unwanted documents and prescription drugs to his shredding and drug disposal event this Saturday in Newtown Square. The Delaware County Heroin Task Force will have its Mobile Drug Collection Unit onsite to accept unwanted or expired prescription drugs. The event is FREE of charge and will be held rain or shine.

Tom Wolf, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Secretary Patrick McDonnell and officials of Sunoco Logistics for a halt to activity on the Mariner East 2 pipeline project in Delaware County until all can ensure proper safeguards are in place to protect the environment and area citizens. This action follows another incident of drilling-related contamination at a stream crossing in Middletown Township.
HARRISBURG – Today Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) voted in favor of legislation that would bring Pennsylvania into compliance with the requirements of the federal REAL ID Act while also enabling citizens to opt out of having the enhanced IDs.
WHAT: On Thursday, Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) will participate in the opening reception for Penncrest High School’s 59th Annual Art Show featuring various works by 32 Penncrest students. Quinn will award each student a House certificate in recognition of their creative contributions to this year’s show. The show will run through June 5.
WHAT: Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) will host an open house at his new office in Media. Quinn recently moved from his former location in Newtown Square to a more convenient location in downtown Media that is situated closer to the center of his legislative district. Quinn said the new location is more visible and will make it easier for constituents to drop in. He said the open house will give him an opportunity to learn what issues are on the minds of citizens and to share information on state-related services provided by his office.
WHAT: Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) will co-host an event Thursday that will give Pennsylvania citizens, age 65 and older, another way to ride for free on SEPTA transit buses and regional rail lines for just $1. Seniors can continue to use their valid Pennsylvania driver’s license or state-issued identification, or they can obtain a new SEPTA Key photo identification card.
