HARRISBURG -- Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) announced today that the Riddle Hospital Birthplace facility is receiving a $1 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant.
The grant, which was released by Gov. Tom Wolf’s office, will be used to renovate the nursery, patient rooms and other care areas for mothers and newborns.
“This grant is great news for our area as Riddle Hospital continues to improve the already top-notch care it provides for our residents,” said Quinn. “These improvements will also reinforce Riddle Hospital’s standing as a leading employer in our area and providing quality jobs that help drive our local economy. I commend Gov. Wolf on releasing this grant, which will enhance the quality of life for everyone in Delaware County.”
Sen. Tom Killion (R-Delaware) echoed Quinn’s sentiments, saying he, too, was pleased with the grant and its future impact on Delaware County.
“This grant for Riddle Hospital’s Birthplace facility is tremendous news for our region,” said Killion. “Riddle Hospital is a valuable community partner and the renovations it is making will benefit thousands of local families over the coming years. I deeply appreciate that Gov. Wolf is once again showing his commitment to our area by releasing funds for this important project.”
