– Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) invites local residents to join him at the Penn State Brandywine Gym on Thursday, July 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for his American Red Cross Blood Drive, where they could help save a life by donating blood or just talk with him about state government-related issues.
“I am looking forward to hosting this blood drive and having our community members save lives by donating,” Quinn said. “The generosity of our community has never failed, and I know the outcome of this event will result in many people being helped during this time.”
The Penn State Brandywine Gym is located at 25 Yearsley Mill Road., Media
Those who would like to donate blood should sign up at www.redcrossblood.com to schedule an appointment. Blood donors are asked to bring a valid form of photo identification with them.
“In the uncertainty of these trying times, this is just one way we can support each other and make sure we are looking out for our neighbors,” Quinn said. “We will be following CDC guidelines and restrictions to ensure everyone’s safety will be top priority. Additionally, the American Red Cross has set extra precautions to support that same goal.”
