Rep. Quinn Honors Trooper of the Year
5/10/2019
Middletown –State Rep. Chris Quinn (R-Delaware) presented the American Legion’s Pennsylvania Trooper of the Year award to Trooper Matthew Brennan on Thursday during a ceremony.

“Trooper Brennan not only produces these statistics, he understands the human side of being a trooper, treating everyone with respect and presenting a positive image of the department throughout the community,” Quinn (R-Delaware) said during the ceremony. “We are lucky to have him protecting us.”

Brennan received the award, in part, because of his many drug arrests and 29 DUI arrests in 2018.

Quinn highlighted a few of Brennan’s key arrests, including one in October, where a traffic stop led to finding 55 grams of marijuana, various baggies containing white powder and assorted pills and an unregistered 9mm handgun.

In November of 2018, Brennan made five DUI arrests from traffic stops, two misdemeanor arrests, and one felony Megan’s Law arrest he solved as a result of a traffic stop.
